Born in Burundi and raised in Rwanda, Coach Abdul has been a vital part of our coaching staff since 2021. His international background deeply influences his approach to the game, drawing from the rigorous and holistic soccer programs he grew up with. Abdul’s coaching philosophy is centered on the belief that a great athlete is built through a balance of mental preparation, individual technical development, and tactical intelligence.

At Lincolnwood Soccer Club, Abdul is a champion of our disciplined environment, designed to shape not only elite athletes but also a new generation of leaders. He focuses intensely on each player’s physical abilities and strength, ensuring they have the foundation needed to compete at the highest levels. To Abdul, soccer is more than a sport—it is a tool for building character and community. A resident of the Edgewater neighborhood in Chicago, where he lives with his wife, Addison, Abdul leads by example when it comes to discipline and health.

He is a fitness enthusiast who trains at his local gym daily and enjoys the art of cooking for friends and family. His dedication to personal growth and his structured approach to training make him an exceptional mentor for every young player at LSC.
